Today was a day full of wonder at what
our amazing God can do. All week long, in addition to putting on two VBS's at the
two orphanages and mini-VBS's at the well across the street, our ladies have been
walking the neighborhood, meeting the neighbors and presenting the gospel
message to them. They invited the ladies to a women's Bible study this morning
in the Phase One building, hoping they might get 20 or so; over 50 showed
up! Many brought their Bibles as well as their babies, and they all soaked up
the Word, worshipped and sang together like angels. What an incredible experience
for our ladies and the men, too, as they listened to the singing while working!
Tomorrow we hope they will return and many more as well. What an impact of Light
in this area of darkness!
Our work on the orphanage began this
morning with a trip to MSC to replace the generator at the IBG House, which died
last night. We will need a mid-size generator anyway when we move the teams to
the site, so we decided to go ahead and get one now. It took four big guys to
wrestle it off the pickup and into position, but how sweet it sounded when we
fired it up!
Meanwhile work resumed on all our projects. Chad and his crew made great
progress on the walls for the house parents' apartment,
Brad took the lead on the stairs, and he and Graham cut them out and put
the them in place from the pad we built in front of the storeroom up to the
porch.

One of the other projects was taking down the lean-to we have used for
shade and rest since the very beginning of the project. But don't worry, we have
carefully preserved all the church autographs on the joists!
What an amazing, productive day! We are
all feeling so blessed to be a part of the Lord's work here, and to feel His
hand guiding us in everything from construction to outreach.
Please continue to pray for us as we finish up our work and ministry tomorrow, and...
COME JOIN US FOR A MISSION TRIP!
