Arriving to the center this morning for the second time, we were excited to see the familiar smiles peeking through the window. We knew another great day was ahead of us! Dispersing into our separate rooms, we picked up right where we left off with the kids. After their nutritious morning snack, a handful of the team members assisted the Squirrels and Ducks (the oldest children) in an exciting game of kickball. The remaining team members continued to play with the toddlers and babies, enjoying a beautiful Guatemalan morning. Before lunch was served, the Chicks (toddlers) clapped while a few of the team members sang Gospel music to them. Now during our lunch break, we are preparing activities for a fun afternoon, such as hopscotch, arts and crafts, four square, cheerleading stunts, and a dance routine. We have had an awesome couple of days in Guatemala so far and cannot wait to see what the rest of the week has in store for us!
