HAITI - Tuesday 3/5/13

We started the day off working on a lot of smaller projects while we waited for the roofing materials and lumber. Many of the team members walked the neighborhood again with Charles, but some stayed back and worked on plumbing. Stepanie learned a lot about PVC from Bert, as they got the first floor bathroom shower plumbed!

Finally the materials arrived and were unloaded, and quickly run up to the second floor...

...where Bethany, Ashley and Brenda cut pieces for the porch under Wayne's direction...

...and Brenda and Gail helped put together the porch walls. First one is up!

Jonathan had Daniel and the guys up putting on the roof, and by the end of the day had it half done.

And now we have the porch walls up, with only the joists left to be put on tomorrow. We are looking good for a complete porch and roof this trip!

We praise the Lord once again for His provision, guidance and timing in all we are doing here.

Tomorrow we are set for the first ladies Bible study, and can't wait to have the singing lift our spirits again as we work. Daniel will give a message, and the youth group will sing for them, with Josh playing guitar. We are building more and stronger relationships with every trip now, and give the Lord all the praise and glory for what He is accomplishing here!
