HAITI - Wednesday 3/6/13
We had a good rain last night that cooled things off and cleared the dust out of the air, but today turned clear and we had no problems working. We scrambled to get some sawing done before the Haitian ladies came for Bible study, then enjoyed their beautiful singing as usual while we tried to make minimal noise working. Our Pastor Daniel gave a message to them this morning, followed by more singing and prayers. We were sad to see them go!
Then it was back to work putting the joists on the porch and adding bracing to the main joists inside.

After lunch most of us went to Pastor Felix's to deliver gifts and play with the kids. They were so happy to see us, and after some great singing in the tent (our Luken led a great song!), we went out to play before sadly having to head back.
Back at the site, we worked again on the porch, putting on the railings.
All this week we have had a Haitian crew under Bos Liben and Marc doing the plastering in P1. They will finish this week.

And after the crew got back from the afternoon's visit with PE's kids, we went after the perlins and bird's nests for the porch. All done and ready for metal!
God has blessed us with another wonderful, productive day in every aspect of this ministry, from construction to kids' ministry to outreach. The picture of what our Lord is doing here is getting clearer every day, and we feel so blessed to be a part of it!
Please continue to pray for us, and come join us in this wonderful work!
