We can’t believe that it’s Thursday and we’ll be leaving
tomorrow. The week has flown by. God has shown and taught us wonderful things.
Today was our last day at the nursing home. The guys finished all their projects and the
ladies finished putting on the new mattresses.
We had a one last time with the residents, singing and sharing the Word. Sue was able to give the ladies (and Gustavo)
a nice foot washing and finished with soothing lotions on their legs and
feet. We all shed a tear as we said
adios.
The afternoon was a time of sightseeing and a little last
minute shopping. We had a wonderful
typical lunch on our way to beautiful Catatina.
Catarina is a small, picturesque town that overlooks one of the lakes in
an extinct volcano. We experienced God’s
majesty today.
We are leaving first thing in the morning and are already
talking about coming back with another team from our church. Thank you again for ALL your support and
prayers as we served together in this beautiful place amongst these beautiful
people!
