Guatemala - Port Charlotte

Great last day with the kids for team Port Charlotte!
Edgar moved up today from the Canaries to the Bunnies.  We had a new Canary arrive today.  Our little Bunny Maria is feeding herself.  Manuel in the Canaries who had the chickenpox is doing much, much better.  And the most exciting news of the day is that Maria Asuncion walked with her walker by herself from the Chicks bathroom to her crib!!!
Our dental team treated about 50 patients today.  Our WOW moment in the dental clinic was our interpreter who was able to sign with a hearing impaired patient!
We ended our week with WOW time out by the pavilion circled around a campfire.  Here are some of the highlights:
- We are so thankful for Olivia and Alejandra.  Not only are they fantastic at what they do but their heart and love for the kids at the Center is amazing!
- Our physical therapist did a video with some of the kids showing exercises and movements.  She presented it to the staff at the Center so they could all see some helpful activities for the children needing therapy!
- One of the team member's AWANA class made cards for the children at the Center.  She had exactly enough cards for all the Squirrels.  The girls got their cards before bed and had a great time looking at the pictures!
