Haiti - The walls are going up!

Now that everyone knows where the tools are and what to do, the team is working like a well-oiled machine!  John L is the lead block layer, assisted by Charles, Billy and Pio, our Dominican bus driver, and even Jennifer!  They are almost done with one bedroom.

  

Jim fed everyone with cut blocks again.

Meanwhile Pastor Mike took on the well house, and has it ready for a slab floor tomorrow.

 

John L moved over, and with Pio and Wowo laid the first level of the walls to finish the house parent's room and the second and third bedrooms. They are ready for the rest of us to start blocking tomorrow.

 

Linda, Geraldine and Jennifer did their first neighborhood visitation with Charles and John, and had a good response for the Bible study on Wednesday morning. We were able to get over to the bookstore and get Bibles to hand out. Then they did VBS with the kids most of the afternoon.

Praise God for a beautiful, productive day, in construction, kid's ministry and outreach!  We feel so close to being able to move the kids in, but we need a lot of help still.
