Today is our first concrete day. We start off every day with a prayer circle in the Phase One building.
Then off to work. Today we started the concrete pouring with the water tower footer. Bring on the wheelbarrows!
Meanwhile, the wall team is progressing well.
And we can see them working as we get ready to pour the storeroon bond beam.
This is hard work, as the concrete has to be brought over by wheelbarrow, then hoisted up to us on a high enough scaffold to pour.
Looking good!
At lunchtime Pastor Edmond provided us with fresh coconuts and someone to cut them open so we could drink the milk.
Jeremy seems to like it almost as much as Starbucks!
Tomorrow we will tackle the grout, another difficult day of hoisting buckets. But the Lord has strengthened us and keeps us going in this hot sun. Please continue to pray for His excellent provision!
