Guatemala July 9th- 15th (day 2)

Today is Tuesday and if I weren't here at the malnutrition center I would say it's ONLY Tuesday because I like so many others find myself counting down the days until I can say T.G.I.F., for me Friday 's are a double treat, the gateway to the weekend and payday!! Occasionally though, I find the week flies by and that has been my experience already during this incredible time with Orphan's Heart and I wish Friday would not come. For those who have been to Guatemala, you will understand a short blog could never describe all that I have seen and how mighty I know our God is, but let me attempt! From the hospitality of the Guatemalans to the smiles on little faces, everything about the past two days has been amazing. I have fallen in love with the workers who give such diligent care to the precious children for whom they are guardians. Although I do not speak the language, I believe the primary language for those in the body of Christ is "Lovenese!" I am so unworthy to be used by our Lord but greater is He that Is in me, than he that is in this world! As scripture says, I will thank my God upon every remembrance of those whose lives have impacted mine and must say that most of them are younger than 3! Our God is an AWESOME God! Our boys today were at the construction site. We were informed here at the center that they had finished two foundations by 1:30, remarkable since it typically takes a team all day to finish one. I can't wait to see what else is in store for our group the rest of the weak.
