Our team left yesterday heading back to the states and arrived safely. I wanted to update each of you on the status of one of our longest residents of the malnutrition center little Cristina. Her family showed up on Friday and took her home after living at the center almost 4 years. I am told that she was one little happy girl to meet her mom and to be going to live with her grandmother. Pray for Cristina she will have some major adjustments to make in her life. This is the goal and desire for everychild at the center that they get to go home as soon as possible and that they are with their families.
I will have one final blog for the August 1-8 team and then will start bloging for the team that just arrived yesterday from Lehigh Acres, Florida.
