NICARAGUA, April 5-11,2014

Monday

Our morning was spent at the Hogar Senil (nursing home).  After a sweet time of sharing the word and song, we gave haircuts, manicures, and fun balloon animals! The men began working on the many maintenance projects needed at the home.   Adam, our team artist, shared his talents with the 18 residents.

The afternoon was spent loving on the 140 children of the Samuelito "street children" program.  Our team lead in Bible story, music, craft, and recreation... and they even had a mini soccer camp, which they absolutely loved! And of course, the afternoon ended with a nice hot meal for each child. We were impressed on how quickly they stole our hearts.  They just want to be loved... and that we did.  We are thankful that love has no language.
