Day Two in El Carrizal -
We dug the first foundation of the next group of seven houses, marked out 3 more ready for digging, finished cleaning the floors of the rest of the houses...
...and painted the outsides of two more.
As you can see, we are alternating colors, peach, yellow, green, then we will have blue and rose. Que bonita!
The kids came around after school and enjoyed balloons, bubbles and a BIG jump rope! We think they are planning to keep Marlanea!
Tomorrow we will get back to stuccoing, painting more houses, and cutting and forming rebar and plumbing for the new foundation. We are planning to pour it on Thursday before we leave. We are blessed with great weather, cool in the morning, and a brief sprinkle of rain this afternoon that kept us cool, too.
