But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Galatians 5:22

Today  we are praying for extra measures of LOVE to give to the beautiful children.  Thursdays are always a little more difficult because it is our last day to be at the center.  Our week has been filled with amazing times of both giving and receiving from the children and workers. What a privileged it has been to be an instrument of God's love this week.  God has taught us so much... compassion, love, understanding, patience, kindness, gentleness and we truly have seen these fruits of the spirit being manifested in all areas as we served... both in us and in the children and staff.  It's amazing how these fruits are all around us each day but many times we never notice them or use them.  But as most of you know, there is something special that happens to you while you are on mission and that has happened to us this week.  We are going home "changed."

As mentioned in yesterday's blog, several of the children have been reunited with their families. How wonderful and even as we selfishly want them to stay, we know that being a family is what God intends.  We are so thankful that the Lord "let us borrow" these children for a short while as we were able to be part in planting the seeds of Christ's love.  Here are the children that have recuperated and are back with their families.

Alex, Gladys, Tomás, Vicente, Mayra, Abelino, Kimberly Guadalupe, Marvin Adolfo, Luis Armando, Dairin, Rosa, Josefina, Yasmin, Victor, Isabel, and María Angélica.

Even though these have left the center, there are still 95 children that need your love and prayers.  We know that the Lord has brought each of these children here for much more than healing their bodies... but giving them opportunity to change their lives for eternity!

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to minister in your name! And you can be sure that WE WILL BE BACK!
