HAITI - Great Progress!

Another gorgeous day, and great progress in all areas!. While the ladies headed out to visit the tent city down the road, the guys took up where we left off, with Pastor Mike, Marc and Wowo filling in the well house base after we had extended the pipe up 3 feet, then forming and pouring the slab.

Charles and Billy finished up the first bedroom wall and then started on numbers 2 and 3 on the other end that John L had laid out yesterday.

 

Pastor Mike, who has turned into a block-laying machine, worked on the last wall of the house parent's room.

 

By end of day, every room had its walls started, with 3 block laying crews keeping David very busy mixing mortar!

 

Meanwhile the ladies got back from visitation and went to do VBS at the orphanage. The kids look great in their new blue VBS shirts with Linda and Geraldine.

 

Jennifer and Geraldine put on "David and Goliath," with Jennifer as 'you know who'! The kids loved her acting...

 

And then the ladies passed out new clothes hand-made by some of the folks back home. The little girls especially were all smiles with their new dresses!

 

Tomorrow morning we will have the ladies Bible study. Please pray for a great turnout and even greater worship time with the Haitian ladies. And please continue to pray for our men as they work hard to get all the walls up, and for health and safety for everyone. We're getting closer, and feel the presence of the Lord in all we are doing.
