Small Team, Big Heart

Our second team arrived safely on Saturday, and although small in number (only 7), they have been amazingly productive. We started out on Sunday with Pastor Edmond's church, as usual.

And then attacked the framing on the phase one building with gusto. We discovered we only had one TapCon driver to remove the plywood with, and it didn't last long, but that didn't stop the team - they just pried the wood off!

And Angie and Wayne pitched in cleaning all of the rubble out of the inside of the building to make it easier for the next team to work.

Man does the building look great now!

The next step was to frame the posts in the Pastor's House, so Monday morning after a quick trip to the hardware store (MSC+), we finishing removing the framing from the phase one building and moved over to the Pastor's House and put the wood up there.

It is all finished and ready to pour on Tuesday! This team really rolls!

The Lord has continued to bless us with wonderful weather. And it seems like on every trip, just when we needed it, He has provided someone or something that we could not do without. This time when we needed TapCon drivers so badly we found them totally unexpectedly at MSC. And we discovered that there is a member of the team who is an architect, and who has already been invaluable in planning the next stages of construction, especially the roof. God is truly amazing in His provision for us. Please pray for this team that they will stay healthy and injury free, and continue to be so wonderfully productive in doing God's work!
