Guatemala, May 5-11, St. Michael Lutheran School

The little children are still smiling after a few days of working with them and we are still smiling, as well!

Yesterday, after the center, we played soccer with some Guatemalans. They were pretty good, but we had to communicate in Spanish. It was eighth graders vs. seventh graders, and the eighth graders won. We called one of the players Azul because he was wearing blue pants. After soccer we ate dinner. Right after dinner was WOW! Time. We talked about what has changed our life with this mission trip. A lot of people were sharing about how this trip has changed not only the kids' lives but our lives also. We also went swimming before going to bed.

This morning, Mr. Z skyped with the school during chapel. We couldn't see them, but they saw us. Today is also Tommy's birthday!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMMY! Breakfast was yummy. Julia and Kayla did devotion this morning. They talked about what has impacted each of us on this trip. Everybody has been greatly impacted by the children. We had our normal bus ride to the center and greeted the kids with HUGE smiles. We are all very blessed to be here.
