Day Two at the Center/Construction of Home
Does God answer prayers or what? Last night after our wow moment we prayed for clear weather for the construction team today because it has been raining for 2 days straight.....and that's just what the Lord did! Once the guys finished their tasks for the day and the concrete had just set enough so the rain wouldn't hurt it- that's when the rain came down! Is our God good or what? I am envious of our males & female today for the responsibility of constructing the home for a women and her 3 daughters, I heard some incredible stories about the bonds they made and the labor that was involved. It was a true labor of love for the Lord, but the neatest thing of all had to be when the missionaries got word today at lunch that our construction team had enough money left over from the last home that was built to also build a small outdoor bathroom, sink, & shower for the village there.....it was amazing! I found today personally more challenging emotionally for me but also for Erin & Emily who helps along side me in the Chicks & Bunnies room....we had one pretty startling and scary experience luckily everything was taken care of. I felt overwhelmed at times and broke down shortly, it blows my mind how incredible these women are at the center but how over worked they must feel too! We are all looking forward to hearing about the finished project of the home & bathroom but also the small dedication ceremony that takes when they give it to that special family tomorrow. I am praying for a better day and more strength to push through my emotions and put the children's needs first. I am so proud of each and every team member here and how much effort they have given in just two days. God Bless everyone

It must be because you build for a cause! How's the construction, anyway? It has been 2 months already! The place probably helps those in need now. Good luck to your upcoming missions and keep it up. :)
