Day four

Sorry, friends, for the delay in posting! When you don’t hear from us, it’s either because our hands are full or we’re completely spent from the day’s work! Your encouragement and prayer support is so important to us, and we want to keep you informed so you are able to rejoice with us, pray with us and labor with us!
Today was different from the other days because the guys were able to join us at the center. They had their hands full with painting, building shelves, and mowing. Eleven year old Simeon helped the guys paint, the men were very appreciative and from what we heard he was one of the best painters. Its day three and we are already so attached to the kids, tomorrow is going to be so difficult to leave them. Since we have broken the kids up into 5 teams (blue, orange, yellow, red, green), we are able to give more one on one attention. Today’s bible story was about Joseph and the coat of many colors. For our craft time we finger painted, what a mess! The kids seemed to really enjoy it, and that is all that matters! While playing outside today the orange, blue and, yellow team put together a fort, while the younger teams, red and blue, played inside with table toys. After naptime we took some of the boys outside to play soccer before it started to rain, they expended a lot of energy. Overall it was a great day and we are extremely excited as to what God is going to do tomorrow.
