On Thursday, a group of us ventured into the village of Ouanaminthe to distribute to a few families who are familiar to the Children's Center various food and clothing items that we had gathered from donations given to the Center. Again, we were amazed at the courage and inner beauty of the people we met, living in conditions of extreme poverty and yet loving and gracious all the same. We met a man who has had a goiter for over ten years, but without any means to get a passport or travel to have the necessary surgery. We told him we would pray for him and explore the possibilites of what it would take to help him. Pray with us that God will provide!
