to the children's Awana program at the church. As we were walking to the
church, we had many little ones joining along beside us. When we arrived
at the church, many of the children were already taking their seats. I couldn't believe how quiet they all were as they were sitting there waiting for the program to begin. I was quickly warned that it would not be that way for long. They sure were right!
The children began singing and dancing and shouting praises! It was so amazing to see all of the children joining together to worship Jesus! It is very clear that they have such a great love for Him.
After Awana, we headed back to the guest house and grabbed the five duffle bags of medical supplies and medications that we had brought over from the US!
We hauled the bags to the clinic, and began taking inventory - counting it all
and documenting everything in a spreadsheet.
After we finished the inventory, we headed off to see the new clinic that is being built. All of the men working on the building were very focused, and were doing a great job. It was very interesting to watch them lay the bricks one by one.
The clinic should be finished by the time the next Orphan's Heart team arrives in December. God is going to do wonderful things there in the future.
In the evening, we sang praises and had a devotional at Katherine's house. We then ate dinner, and watched the movie "Rio" with the kids. Ron popped A LOT of popcorn for all of us to enjoy.
Tomorrow is Sunday, and we are looking forward to church in the morning. We will be conducting Sunday school. It is going to be another great day!
PS: We are already planning our next trip back. All of the sweet smiles and gracious people have us hooked!
