Another great day in El Carrizal! This week Calvary Baptist East Lake is down
serving as the hands and feet of Christ!
So far we have finished the walls on
House 13 and started the layout of House 14!
God even blessed us this week with an electrical engineer!!! So we are working on wiring the community transformation
center.
We are also blessed this week to have
two karate and self-defense experts. We
headed down to the school this afternoon to teach the kids some karate and
self-defense moves. The kids even had
the opportunity to break boards!!! The
LOVED it!!!
What’s even more awesome is that over
the past two days the team has fitted almost 90 community members with glasses!!! After taking an eye exam, individuals were
fitted with glasses with the proper correction for either reading or
distance. As our test to make sure they
had the right glasses, team members asked individuals to read Romans 10:9! Those who got reading glasses and didn’t have
a Bible at home were able to leave with God’s Word and the right glasses to
help them read it!!! Please pray that
the seeds that are being planted this week will take root and that the truth
that has been shared from God’s Word will continue to transform lives!
