Guatemala, April 12-18, 2014

The team from Florida and Michigan are in full force... all 7 of them!  Even though, we are few in number, we are great in service!

The team spent Sunday in Antigua.  We enjoyed  starting our day worshiping at Iglesia del Camino. Then we headed up the mountain for some good 'ole zip-lining!  It was a beautiful day and we certainly were in awe as we zipped and sipped looking out over the beautiful valley. God's creation is SO majestic here.  All three volcanoes were in view and we even got to see Fuego puffing.

Our afternoon was spent walking the streets of Antigua and seeing all the beautiful carpets laid out for Palm Sunday. This is the Holy Week, and Antigua is very busy with the processionals that honor our Christ.  This is such a festive and interesting time of year in Antigua.  And, of course, we spent time at the market and were all very successful in helping stimulate the local economy!

Today was our first full day with the children.  We are working with the Canaries, Dolphins, and Bunnies.  It sure is nice to see lots of smiling faces and hear lots of happy laughter.  We are already "smitten" by these children and are so excited to be here and help share His love with all.   Here are some scenes from the Dolphin room today.
