When Orphan’s Heart began this project in the Dominican Republic last year, the hope was to share Christ’s love by helping provide spiritual, emotional, physical, educational and medical help to a community in need. This help would not only be accomplished by helping provide housing to families, but also by planting a church and constructing a Community Transformation Center. This week this hope is becoming a reality!
Our team is working very, very hard; and with the help of our Dominican construction team has poured a 120’ by 30’ foundation and will finish all the walls of the building in the next two days!
The Community Transformation Center will not only be a church, but will also be a place for...
the community to gather,
mission teams to minister to children,
feeding programs to cook meals for families in need,
job and life skill training to take place,
young mothers to come and receive valuable training on how to take care of their children . . .
the list goes on and on.
We are excited about all that the Lord is doing and all that He has planned!!
