DOMINICAN REPUBLIC March 15-21, 2014

We are so thankful to the Lord for another great, productive day... and some baseball!!!

Today we started the morning by making sure our walls were 'right on the money!'  After spending several hours pouring 484 linear feet of walls, the first four courses are done!!!  

This afternoon we were treated to a friendly neighborhood game of baseball . . . our mission team versus the neighborhood kids.  

The problem is the kids in El Carrizal are good . . . very good.  So we had to stack our team by bringing over our construction crew to have at least a small chance and avoid a major blowout!!!  :)  We hung in there, and in the end we lost by only 1 point . . . 7-6!  

Thankful for a great time of fellowship and the blessing of building lifelong memories and relationships with this wonderful community.
