Building homes. Building relationships. Baseball.
What a wonderful day! It was only our second day at the work site
and we have already been blessed beyond belief.
Our construction crew worked hard
today and got a lot accomplished. All the
sewer and water lines are done and ready to be hooked up. We finished up the stucco work in two
bathrooms. And our first two homes are
painted!!! Our neighbors even came by
this afternoon to comment on how great the homes are looking!
The best part of the day was the
interactions the team had with all the kids in the community. Little girls got their fingers painted. Bracelets were made. The boys got to play baseball with some
equipment donated by generous families. We
jumped rope. And the children brought
their Bibles back to go over more Bible stories.
As the week unfolds, it is
becoming clearer every day that God has once again put together the perfect
team of people to minister to this community.
