HAITI - All Done!

Thursday was our last day here. Our morning was filled with songs of praise and worship again; almost a hundred ladies filled our small (22x20) concrete room (it will be a large bathroom) with themselves, their children, and absolutely divine singing. Charles and John led the worship and singing, and our ladies gave messages. Pastor Villebien from the church next door was there again to invite them to continue their Christian journey with his congregation, something a lot of these new Christians need.

We told the ladies all week that we would not be handing out food this time, but on Tuesday we got an unexpected gift from "Feed My Starving Children" through Pastor Castillo,

and we were able to hand out 2 "Manna Pacs" to each lady as they left, to their great surprise and joy. God is good!

Several of the ladies asked about medical help, and many of them are pregnant, so we need to think seriously about bringing down a medical team as soon as we can.

The guys worked very hard all day to get all the interior walls up, and even with a visit over at the old orphanage to see the kids again, they managed to finish early!

What a team! Small but with big hearts. They far exceeded our expectations, especially considering that they were not professional block-layers. They were ably assisted by our Haitian crew!

Praise God for all His excellent provision in construction, children's ministry and outreach on this trip! Where we are weak, He is strong!

Come join us on one of these trips and experience that strength for yourself!
