HAITI - Tuesday, 10/16/12

Another beautiful day with good weather and an early start. After devotions we split up into our teams and went to work. Dariel and Bob began putting up the forms for the director house bond beam,

while Cliff and Jeff kept on laying blocks, helped by Jennifer and Daniel.

Tomorrow we will be able to wire and pour the beam while the rest of the blocks go on.

The ladies headed over to do VBS with the kids and had a great time, especially Debbie!

Meanwhile Bill, Gil, Steve and Reid finished the other end wall and most of the middle one.

Andy and Wes and Jim have been testing the water at both the new (good water) and current (very bad water) sites, and they went out and purchased the supplies and hardware necessary to get the purification system up and running at the current site. Now the children have safe water to drink again! Praise the Lord! (and Bill Nallia can sleep at night again!)

We have started getting the roofing supplies at last, but will probably only be able to store them until the next team comes. But this team has been extremely productive and have advanced the day we can move the kids over in ways we did not plan on (but God did!).
