FBCH Youth, August 1, 2012

Day Three… we are not looking forward to the last day.  All of the FBCH team members started their day with a lot of energy.  Now that they have learned the routines, they helped with breakfast, diaper changes and more.  The nannies have learned to trust the young people with the care of the children.  It was wonderful to see teens enforce time-out as directed by nannies.
Today playtime was particularly fun for the canaries (babies) as they were treated to a rare day outside.
While the children played, three of the FBCH boys helped to renovate the room that was mentioned the day before.  The boys worked on that room, helped with the children and after dinner they returned to finish the room tonight.  They have been extremely hard workers and continue to be noticed by the adults in the center.
We also got to minister to the nannies and workers today and it was incredibly humbling to see how much these ladies love the Lord and have so much joy despise the long days and hard work. It was a privilege to encourage them to continue doing what they do with so much love and dedication.
Tomorrow will be hard as we say goodbye but these children and their nannies will forever be part of our hearts!
