GUATEMALA - July 2, 2012

The team had their hands full today!

We had an early start this morning and enjoyed a devotion by Curtis Fisher of the Brooksville group. He reminded us that we must be like children, dependent on God and not ourselves.

When we arrived at the Center, the group enjoyed a tour of the facilities, which included the newly finished wing where we are now able to house guests and get away for our lunch breaks!

The Ducks and Squirrels, and Bunnies and Chicks stayed very active with lots of fun playtime outside.

Sergio is well enough to play outside and is eating solid food!  Gladis has quickly found herself a new boyfriend.

We were thrilled to show the Jesus film to the group of school children, and were blessed with responses from JULISSA, SANDRA, LUCIA and MENDOZA, as they prayed for Jesus to come into their lives and live with them forever!  Precious new members of our big family!

Lunch was a little later than usual and definitely kept everyone busy. With a smaller group this week we had many team members feeding multiple children.

Thank you for your continued prayers for little MARVIN, who drank three complete bottles this morning!

We’re excited to see what the rest of the week brings us, and are blessed to see God using the Center, the workers and so many volunteers to change the lives of many children in Guatemala. It has been a great start, and we know there is so much more to come.
