DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - June 22, 2012

Friday-- Hi to anyone who has stopped to read my first attempt at blogging!:) I'm absolutely amazed that my mission trip is already beginning! Made the trip to Miami today... It rained as soon as we got close to Orphan's Heart headquarters. It has rained ever since!! My feet were soaked...TOMS are not happy shoes in the rain.:( I have already thought quite a few times about how spoiled I am... How my life is so comfortable...how the choice of what I eat today is plentiful...what I have, what I have access to... It's all so comfortable. But today... Today I am being called to be uncomfortable...I'm leaving what is easy...walking into what is not. Tomorrow...bright and early...I head to the Dominican Republic to be used by the God who loves me and has planned this trip for me.:) I know I will come back different... I will come back with an outlook that I pray is more like Jesus. Join me on this journey...God is about to do something that only He can do!:) Til tomorrow!! :)
