HAITI - January 13 - Construction Team

The last day of construction started with the entire team visiting the orphans for a couple of hours. All this week they have been heads down building and have not had the opportunity to really get to know the kids they are building for. They came back to the site highly motivated, and tackled 8 more truckloads of fill for the road, as well as finishing up all the blocks they had left on their side of the wall. What a team! This is what their week of work produced!

And here are some of the crew members at work...

And Harrison with his daily futbol game with the neighbor kids...

All together it was a wonderful week. Charlie's friend Edgar came back for his promised Bible and was saved! One of our crew, David, witnessed to one of the Haitian workers from across the road, also named David, who worked with him mixing mortar, and made a friend; we can't wait to see where the Lord will go with that relationship. As we build up the orphanage physically, we are building up relationships with the neighborhood that we hope and pray will lead to much fruit for the Kingdom! Praise the Lord for blessing us with this fantastic week. And there is more to come soon!
