Guatemala August 6-12, 2011

Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Tallahassee &
First Baptist Church, Pinellas Park

Yesterday was our excursion day. We started the day off with a wonderful worship, led by Pastor Dewanye Slusher and music led by Lindsay Mimbs. We had praise and worship with the beautiful backdrop of three majestic volcanos. Wow! The big green trucks rolled in and we loaded up in the backs of two WWII Belgum army trucks and headed to the beautiful Dalton Coffee Plantation where we enjoyed an exhilarating morning of zip-line across a 400 foot deep canyon. Wow! The team enoyed the afternoon shopping and taking in the sights and sounds of Antigua. Wow!

Today was our first day of ministry and we arrived at the center at 9:00am sharp ready to serve. Wow! The kids were anxiously awaiting us and we all began loving on the kids after our tour of the center. One of our first projects was to take 12 canries (bed babies) to the clinic for their shots. Wow! We successfully fed 72 children their lunches and we are busy as bees doing our afternoon projects...unpacking and counting supplies, putting together 4 changing tables, cleaning toys, tables, and chairs, and even wahing dishes in the kitchen. Wow!

Thank you for your continued prayers. We have been constantly wowed! by his amazing blessings of being His servants.
