Army of 50 Descends Upon Malnutrition Center!

“Hola! Como Estas?” What a full day we’ve had! The sun shines brightly here in Antigua in the early morning. The day began with a beautiful breakfast here at the hotel, and then we loaded the buses to go to the malnutrition center. As we traveled through the villages and mountainside, our eyes were certainly opened to the way of life here in Guatemala. The streets are very crowded with people, cars, buses, and bikes all traveling in different directions. We saw our first outdoor community laundry mat. When we reached the malnutrition center, some of the children were anxiously awaiting us outside. We could not wait to start unpacking the bags of supplies and goodies for the children. Praise the Lord, we were able to abundantly stock their supply room. Thank you to everyone who donated!!! The children’s brown eyes immediately melted our hearts. The staff at the center is incredible! Even today a new child was brought to the malnutrition center. The Lord is using the center to meet these children’s needs in every way – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Ready to start another day tomorrow!
