Widows and Orphans

"Oh, that will be glory for me,
Glory for me, glory for me!
When by God's grace I shall look on His face,
That will be glory, be glory for me!"

Those aren't the exact words but very close to the words of the song that was sung to us by a precious lady in her 90's who is a resident at Baptist nursing home in Managua where we are working. With a beautiful smile on her face and tears in her eyes, she sang to us about one day seeing her loved ones in glory. On this trip we were able to stay only a short time at the home, but we were so blessed by her song, and also by the Scriptures that another resident recited, one after the other, as we visited him in his room. Again, joy and light in the midst of a desperate situation. There's lots of work that needs to be done, and we are anxious for our teams to come and invest time and energy at the home in order to make life for these residents a little better. Widows and orphans...God's heart is touched by these (James 1:27), and we want to follow Him where He leads us.

YELLOW - God's love
BLACK - the sin that separates us from His love
RED - the blood that Christ shed on the cross to pay for our sins
WHITE - pure and clean we can stand before Him because of Christ
GREEN - growing in Christ through prayer and Bible study and loving one another
All 158 children left with a bracelet on their arm and the message of salvation in their hearts!
