Day 2 - Malnutrition Center

We hit the ground running! Man, was there work to do! Unloading and sorting supplies; taking inventory; puppet show; Bible story; crafts; playground; face painting; dental treatments; pulling teeth; assessing children; 19 needy babies to feed, change, and love; 17 needy toddlers to care for, hug, sing and pray with; seven precious workers to have devotions and pray with; weed-eating; digging and preparing to build pump houses; cleaning out and disinfecting toys; painting... So went Day 1 at the Malnutrition Center in San Juan!

After leaving the Center, there were a few power naps on the ride home. (we did squeeze in time for a quick market run for t-shirts!) Dinner. WOW time! Puppet practice. Bed!!! We need all the rest we can get for a new day and new challenges tomorrow!

Please pray for these two precious boys...Edwin, who will soon be 12 years old and weighs only 27 pounds; Gerson, who is three months old and has a severe angioma on his face. We need God's miraculous hand to touch these two little ones!

Thank you for "holding the ropes" and by doing so, making it possible for us to be here and be the hands and feet of Jesus!

Walking by faith,
The Team
