Florida Hospital Church Group leaving for Guatemala

12/17/09 - And we're off...

On the bus, full of anticipation, we're heading south to Miami where we will embark to Antigua, Guatemala.


We're all looking forward to this potentially life-changing experience where we'll have the opportunity to grow closer together while serving others. Excitement is in the air, and we can't wait to see where this journey will take us.


By the way...our awesome youth pastor is showing us a DVD by Gary Haugen called, "As you go." It's put out by the International Justice Mission. We're hoping we can have eyes to see the acts of injustice in the community where we're going to, but...perhaps our iPods are distracting us. Do you think we should get rid of them?



The verdict: YES! Goodbye iPods, cell phones, and Facebook.

And now we're off...!

    Hi everyone! We have been to the malnutriton center on a couple of trips with Ron. YES.........dump those ipods! We sure wish we were with you.......but are there in spirit and will be praying for you all as you are in for a life changing time! God bless you all.
