Day Three of Our Trip in Guatemala!

Hola Amigos,

We have just finished up a full day of work here. Wow! What a day. The trip to San Juan, where the Malnutrition Center is located, was an adventure in itself. We were able to see the city, the farmlands, and the poor small village streets, and much more. Many of the streets were shared with people traveling on horseback. There were "tiendas" (convenient stores) at every corner.

There are 34 children currently living in the Center for various reasons. Most of them are brought there by their families, needing help providing nutritional food and medical care for them. Our Team had the privilege of feeding, changing diapers, playing with the children on the playground, and singing songs about Jesus (In Espanol) with them. We have taken many pictures of the children and our team playing and interacting with the children throughout the day.

We would ask you to continue praying for our team as we interact with the children and share the love of Jesus with them and the Saff of the Center. Only the Lord knows the purposes and plans for each one of these precious children: the next President, the next Social Worker, the next Missionary or Preacher.
Stay tuned for more...
